The first few pictures show some of the details of the joist splices. The splice is actually stronger than a long one piece joist because of the extra channel material
added to the inside of the joint.
Shannon is doing the splicing across the sawhorses.
Shannon put one of the tarps across the top of the northside joists to be able to work in a drier
environment.
As seen from the top step some of the joists now span the center of the dome.
Yes, the ground outside is wet. A cold, rainy day!
